Last Tuesday, the team has chosen to use the PF motorized version for the automatic chewing ball delivery. I have build the wagon in Lego Digital Designer, this is the result:
The left wagon carries the PF receiver and the batteries. The right wagon contains the PF motor and the bin to carry the chewing ball(s). Since we cannot control the exact duration that the motor will turn, a white “clutch” gear is used. This gear is able to slip once a certain torque is exceeded and is used to prevent the motor being damaged.
